We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our Vancouver Chapter. The Zero Waste passionate Event Coordinator will organize and carry out many small events throughout the year and staff booths across Metro Vancouver. This includes working with volunteer committees, sponsors and strategic partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a drive to “get the job done,” and who enjoys interacting with eager and ambitious volunteers.

You have experience organizing and running events and are familiar with what is involved. You are comfortable with social media, and know how to foster relationships with suppliers and sponsors. You are also familiar with managing volunteers, providing leadership and guidance.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are a must.
